Mindfulness with Horses

Join TMG and Caroline Parfitt of the Oak Therapies Outdoor Therapeutic Centre, for a morning of outdoor Mindfulness with horses.

The morning will start with a hot drink on the centre's verandah, along with an introduction to Oak Therapies and how they use mindfulness as part of their therapeutic interventions.

Participants will then be led on a mindful walk around the centre, returning to the verandah to share what they found and experienced.

The equine team will then give an introduction to their work and how they bring mindfulness into our world, sharing the mirrors that horses and ponies provide for people. Participants will then spend time being with the horses and ponies, sharing their space.

The morning will end back at the veranda with mindfulness listening.

The morning is open to all, whether you have undertaken a formal mindfulness course or not.

The cost of participation is £20 (£10 concessions).

As a charitable organisation, Tenterden Mindfulness Group want to support as many people as we can to access Mindfulness, so if you are unable to afford the full event fee, please consider using the concessionary rate e.g. Students (18+), Unemployed, Low-income.  If you don't fit into one of the stated categories but feel you cannot afford to pay the full fee, please contact our office PRIOR to booking at contact@tenterdenmindfulness.co.uk to discuss your situation.
