Nina is a teacher member with the Mindfulness Association which is one of the National UK listed training organisations for Mindfulness and teaches the Mindfulness Based Living Course - MBLC.  She is also a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). She worked in the NHS for 12 years in adult mental health services and taught compassionate focused mindfulness approaches to NHS staff and service users. She is a qualified yoga teacher and has been teaching mindfulness based yoga since 2009.

Nina currently works in independent practice focusing on delivering the eight week MBLC for the general public wishing to train in mindfulness and develop these skills in daily life. Alongside mindfulness, a compassion attitude is cultivated during the course so that habitual tendencies are noted with care and curiosity particularly when the present feels challenging.  She offers follow-up practice classes for people who have completed the course.

Her journey to mindfulness gradually developed through her personal practice of gentle, sensitive yoga and other mind-body movement disciplines.  Nina recently co-designed a pilot six week therapeutic yoga course for stress, burnout and anxiety with a team of researchers at Kent University and hopes to build on this work with further collaboration.

Nina is also available for individual consultation and integrates mindfulness, compassion and therapeutic aspects of yoga to support wellbeing.
