Cesare has a Kent based private practice as an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Mindfulness and Compassion teacher. He offers a mindful approach alongside other modalities as it serves the needs of his clients, as well as providing support to other practitioners in their counselling and mindfulness work as a clinical and mindfulness supervisor. He is a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and The British Association for Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA).
Since 2008, Cesare’s mindfulness practice has been under the guidance of internationally recognised meditation teachers. He began teaching mindfulness throughout the private, public and third-sectors after completing his Mindfulness Teacher Training Retreat with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre in 2015, delivering retreats, courses, workshops and tasters, as well as refresher days and drop-ins for 8 week mindfulness course graduates. Cesare is also a qualified Mindfulness supervisor having trained with the Mindfulness Network, offering supervision to other mindfulness teachers and 1:1 mindfulness practice mentoring to course graduates.
Cesare completed further teacher training with the Mindfulness in Schools Project to deliver their .bF curriculum to educators and with the Mindfulness Network to become a Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living teacher. He is registered to teach the 8 week MBCL course and integrate it's themes and practices into his clinical work. He continues to attend regular retreats, workshops, teachings and mindfulness master classes with Dr. John Kabat-Zinn and Prof. Mark Williams for example, to help maintain and deepen his personal and teaching practice.
Cesare also co-founded RUN:ZEN's Mindfulness for Runners, with his colleague Stuart McLeod, which integrates mindfulness in stillness and movement through the medium of running in workshop, course and retreat formats, thus combining the mental and physical health benefits of mindfulness with cardiovascular exercise.
In 2013, Cesare set up a not-for-profit group in Rochester, Kent, where he has been providing weekly classes in mindfulness meditation and mind-training to the local community on a voluntary basis. He also helped set up the UK charity Bodhicharya UK in 2020, which serves as an umbrella charity for the Rochester group and its related groups, which he is the current Chairperson for.
Cesare’s previous professional training and experience was as a secondary school teacher (PGCE) and then as a team-leader and manager in the Employability, Education and Training department within a Kent based prison and later as a Drug and Alcohol Worker within two additional prisons in Kent.
As a result of his training and experience, Cesare can provide the following:
