Laura Acosta
Laura trained with the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University, the Oxford Mindfulness Centre at Oxford University and the Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP), she is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher. Laura is also an Edu-Therapy Specialist, a Menopause Experts Licensed Champion and worked for over 12 years in secondary education - for 4 years at Senior Leadership level.
Laura is a Life Coach and Wellbeing Consultant, founder of her own company ‘Be and Flourish’. Laura believes that wellbeing, nurturing mental health and finding ways to be with our experience as it presents itself to us, moment by moment, are key to flourishing and living well alongside all the challenges and joys that modern life presents.
Laura offers the following courses: MSBR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), Finding Peace in a Frantic World, MBCT-L, The Present for Busy Adults and a range of courses from MiSP including paws b for 7-11 year olds, .b for 11-18 year olds, and .b Foundations for adults/carers and community linked to a particular school setting. She also offers bespoke courses and workshops on Menopause and Grief/Loss.
